About Me

I am a teacher in my fifth year of teaching in the Turtle River School Division. I currently serve as the Grade 8 homeroom and my course load spans from Grade 7-12.

In the spring of 2013 I graduated with my two-year Bachelor of Education (After Degree) with a focus on senior years education at a small university in Manitoba, Canada. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in the spring of 2011 with a major in History and a double minor in both Geography and Geology.

I am currently pursuing my Masters of Education Degree with a focus on Curriculum & Planning. It is my hopes to work towards the purposeful implementation of technology to expand curricular objectives. 

I am very much a country girl and, I must admit, that even living in Brandon for university was too much for me! I am now currently living with my husband on his family's three-generation farm and I couldn't be happier to be back in the country.

When I am not at school, my husband and I are busy working around the family farm or keeping up with our favourite football team: the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
